HappyHappyDingDong is the Rock’N’Roll pub in Dortmund city centre.
A cosy pub with an entertainment and music programme of an unusual kind awaits you: regular theme parties, karaoke evenings, pub quizzes and pub concerts. We value well-kept drinks with a fine selection of beers, spirits and cocktails. Celebrate rock, pop and independent music with your friends and our other guests.
Music
We have the best music! Rock, Pop and Indie. Sometimes Punk, Old School Dance and House Music, depending on the season, day of the week or time. German Schlager only during Carnival in Germany. We are notorious for our Pub Concerts performed by local musicians.
Party
Even if it gets crowded in our location: Nobody wants to miss our regular parties. Especially the Orpheum and Memphis Revival Parties are legendary and known far beyond the borders of Dortmund.
Karaoke
A must attent event for years: The weekly Rock’n Roll Karaoke at HappyHappyDingDong. Simply pick your favorite song from our 2.500-track Karaoke bible, wait for your turn and grab the mic. Every Thursday and every third Saturday of the month as of 9:00 p.m.
Pub-Quiz
“Quiss on the wall”: The hardest Pub Quiz in the Ruhr area. Try to give more correct answers in your team of max. 6 people than your opponents. 4 blocks with 10 questions each, from different fields of knowledge, are played.
